Guide for Authors

Manuscripts intended for publication should be prepared according to the instruction and submitted electronically through the Journal website submission system: http://mag.shora-rc.ir/contacts?_action=loginForm

*The manuscript should be written in Farsi language. Authors need to format their submissions in line with journal's template (files of Authorship Form, Manuscript Text, Author Guarantee, Conflict of Interest) and upload them as Word files. Authors can download samples below:

*Please note that names of authors should not appear on the submission in accordance with journal's template
*All publications in the QJPLK are in Farsi language. Authors whose first language is not Farsi should make sure their manuscript is written in good Farsi before submission. Those willing to submit their works in English language are required to contact us first: mag@shora-rc.ir .

Please ensure that the following items are present in your manuscript:

1) Authors’ name, surname, and personal information (should appear at the beginning of the paper)
-Corresponding author (when there are more than two authors)
-Academic rank, concentration, college, university, city, country
-Author’s (or authors’) address


2) Abstract (200 words) with the following subheadings: title, methodology, results, and keywords (5 to 8)


3) Introduction (should include research problem, research question, significance of the study, survey research method, and literature review)


4) Results section (should address the research question)


5) Sources and references:
-Holy Quran (Chapter, Verse). Example: Hadid: 25
-Farsi references: (last name of author, year of publication, volume, page number): Hosseini, 1376, V.2: 83
-English references (page, volume, year of publication, author’s last name): 71, vol2, 1998, Plantinga

6) In case you need to quote same sources, do not use ibid or op.cit and simply mention the sources again.


7) When references are made to more than one paper by the same author, published in the same year, refer them to as الف, ب, etc. along with the year of publications in brackets.


8) Additional explanations and the English equivalents of expressions or proper names should be placed at the end of the article. References here need to be made according to APA referencing style.


9) You need to provide a list of your sources at the end of the article in alphabetical order:
-First Persian and Arabic sources, then the Latin ones
-Book: Last name, name of author (date of publication), name of book, name of translator, place of publication, publisher, edition, volume.
-Articles published in magazines: Last name, name of author (year of publication), title of article, name of publication, issue number, volume number, pages of articles
-Articles published in encyclopedias: Last name, name of author (year of publication), title of article, name of publication, issue number, volume number, pages of articles

10) The English translation of the article’s title, abstract, keywords, name of author or authors


11) Format instructions of the manuscripts: Office 2007, BLotus12 (article), Times New Roman11 (bibliography), BLotus10 (References)  
12) Titles should be numerated


13) The article should not be less than 4,500 words or less than 7,500 words

14) Authors who submit a manuscript to The Journal, must ascertain that the manuscript has not been submitted or published elsewhere simultaneously both inside and outside Iran.

15) Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to sign the authorship form. This agreement deals with the transfer or license of the copyright to the Quarterly Journal of Public Law Knowledge and authors maintain significant rights to use and share their own published articles.

16) Authors who submit a manuscript to The Journal, must ascertain that the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere simultaneously. The Authors should also declare that the work has not been published elsewhere prior to submission to The Journal. The Authors need to remain committed to the principles mentioned above until a final and official response is given by the Journal.  
 
17) Author as the Corresponding Author is the one individual who takes primary responsibility for communication with the Journal during the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication process. He/she is required to submit original works and research results should not have been fabricated or falsified. The Author is solely responsible for any unethical publication practices, including plagiarism, both scientifically and legally, and publication of manuscripts does not mean that the Journal approves of their entire published materials.
 
18) Admission and publication of manuscripts are conditioned upon The Journal Editorial Board’s final approval and The Journal is free to reject, accept, edit, summarize or revise manuscripts.
 
19) If referees ask for major revisions and Author fails to return the revised manuscript and response letter within the time period allotted by reviewers, peer review as well as publication process will be stopped.


20) Name of Authors listed in the manuscript should be those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research and the Corresponding Author should make sure about this. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as Co-Authors. Authors included in the authors list must agree to the order of the names and that all Authors agreed with the final form of the manuscript being submitted to The Journal.
 
21) The Editorial Board will make the utmost effort to protect and keep confidential authors' personal information as well as the contents of submitted manuscripts during and after the peer-review process and avoid sharing any information other than what is published by the Journal following the acceptance of a given manuscript.
